讲座内容简介：Incubators exist as a fulcrum for the commercialisation of innovation Surprisingly despite their location in contrasted socio, political and cultural environments, little international comparative work on incubators appears to have taken place. For China, moving from made in China to invented in China , the role of incubators particularly, incubators located out with the country, may well play a significant role in accelerating technology shifts back home. The seminar given by the lead researcher Professor Deirdre Hunt the will present the outcome of three years research into the development of Chinese incubators in Silicon valley. The seminar will examine the role extraterritorial Chinese incubators play in accelerating innovation learning for Chinese aspirant entrepreneurs, Chinese VC funds and policy makers.
